I am a Professor of Entrepreneurship and holder of the Shell Chair in Human Resources and Organizational Development at INSEAD Asia Campus (Singapore). I study the formation of social networks and their effects on performance and knowledge sharing in business organizations. My teaching covers topics such as influence and networks, organizational design, and the management of change. I also teach a doctoral seminar on social network analysis at INSEAD since 1992. I have developed the Social Capital Questionnaire, a tool to assess the professional network of executives, and the Networking and Influence Simulation, an interactive online simulation to teach people how to develop, discover, and mobilize informal networks to achieve organizational and personal goals. Below is a list of my academic publications with links to a Dropbox folder.
